Doomsday Sun utilise theatrical elements in the shows alongside the musical performance. The story of the songs is portrayed by frontman Matt Hudson, before, during and after each song of the set, to immerse audiences in a world of hyper-commercialism, totalitarian rule, civil unrest and ultimately, post-apocalyptic desolation.
The band typically encourage crowd participation at their gigs, often supplemented with props, and combined with the skill, cohesion and execution between Matt, Tom Hubball, Rich Oakes and Jake Dangerous as musicians, Doomsday Sun can ensure a memorable evening for all patrons.
